With the email alert you can get notified of the success or failure of a task via email.

Mail Profile	Select the mail profile that you setup in the Mail Server Manager.
To	Specifies the email address or addresses (separated by a semicolon ; ) where the mail will be sent to.
CC	Specifies the email address or addresses (separated by a semicolon ; ) where you want to CC the mail.
Subject	Specifies the subject for the mail that will be sent out.
From	Indicates the email address where the mail will appear to come from.
On Errors	Select this option if you want to send this alert when errors occurred.
On Success	Select this option if you want to send the alert when no errors occurred and the task was run successfully.
On Warnings	Select this option if you want send the alert when warnings occurred.
Message	The optional body of the email message that will be sent out.
Include Log detail in message	With this option details from the log for the task will be included in the email.
