Creating Alerts

Alerts enable you to be notified about the success or failure of a task through an alert component.  The alert components are extendible like Components and Triggers.

To add a new alert to a task, select the alerts node under the task and click on New Alert from the context popup menu. From the New Alert dialog choose the type of alert to add to the task and click on OK. To edit the alert right-click on  the newly created alert and click on properties from the context popup menu.
