1.   Open the Database Connection Manager from the Optitask Tools Menu.

2.   Click on Add.

3.   Select OleDB from the Connection Type dropdown.

4.   Enter a descriptive name or alias for your database connection in Optitask.

5.   Click on the Ellipsis (…) button next to the connection string field to open the Microsoft Data Link Properties dialog that will create the connection string for you. Set your properties in the Data Link properties window then click on OK.

6.   Click on OK to save your connection.

Click on the Test button to ensure that your database connection is setup properly.
