Connecting with ODBC Connector

1.    To establish a connection to an ODBC Database you must first create the DSN in the ODBC Data Source Administration Tool.

2.    Open the Database Connection Manager from the Optitask Tools Menu.

3.    Click on Add.
4.    Select ODBC from the Connection Type.
5.    Enter a descriptive name for the connection in Optitask.
6.    Click on the ellipse (…) button next to the connection string.

7.    Type your ODBC DSN name and click ok.

8.    Click ok to Save your Connection.
