1.   Open the Database Connection Manager from the Optitask Tools Menu.

2.   Click on Add.

3.   Select MySQL from the Connection Type dropdown.

4.   Enter a descriptive name or alias for your database connection in Optitask.

5.   Click on the Ellipsis (…) button next to the connection string field to open the MySQL database properties window and click OK.

7.   Click on OK to save your connection.

8.   Click on Test to test your connection settings.
